Confirmation of Young Adults

Young adults who received the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion and have attended two consecutive years of high school religious education are eligible to prepare for Confirmation through a monthly program. Each young adult will choose a sponsor to join them on their faith journey. Sponsors must be practicing Catholics. Sponsors who are not members of St. Timothy Catholic Church must obtain a sponsor letter from their home parish prior to the Confirmation date. The young adults (with sponsors) will attend monthly classes to help educate them on the richness of the Catholic Faith and its symbols, traditions and moral teaching and to help them grow in their relationship with God through Jesus and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

September 18^th – Parent/Candidate Orientation 12:30 p.m. - Day Chapel

October 22^nd & 23^rd – Candidate and Sponsor-Volunteer for Fall Festival – Mass on your own

November 13^th - Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Candidate and Sponsor 3:45-6:30 p.m. includes Mass

December 11^th – Prayer personality, Candidate and Sponsor 2:30-5:15 p.m. - Mass on your own

January 8^th – Retreat, Candidate and Sponsor 1-6:30 p.m. includes Mass

February 12^th – Teaching Mass, Candidate and Sponsor – 3:45-6:30 p.m. includes Mass

March 11^th – Service Project, Reconciliation and Rehearsal , Candidate and Sponsor – 1:30-5:15 p.m. Mass on your own

April 19th - Confirmation Mass 7:30 PM
