Pastoral Council
ST. TIMOTHY PASTORAL COUNCIL
Mission Statement
We, the Pastoral Council of St. Timothy, are called to further the mission of Jesus. We see as our purpose, bringing not only the active members, but also the inactive and un-churched, to a deeper union with God through the announcing of the Gospel of Jesus to all in word and action.
We hope to do this as a Stewardship community, based on interdependence, sharing and caring; and developing our knowledge, skills and understanding of our Faith.
The Pastoral Council is comprised of 12-14 members who assist the Pastor as he leads our parish. The information supplied by council members helps the Pastor develop parish goals and programs to meet these goals. Because they are members of the parish, the council can also evaluate the effectiveness of these programs and make suggestions for changes or improvements, which would enhance our parish community. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month.
Pastoral Council members wear their identification badges at all parish functions, so they may be accessible to other parishioners. Please feel free to speak with any of them if you have issues, concerns, or compliments that you would like to share.
A roster with phone numbers and email addresses is also available on the bulletin board in the parish center. (You may also leave a message at the main number, 968-1077.)
