Senior High Meetings Sunday 6:45 to 8:45 pm
Sunday nights St. Timothy is THE place to be for Christian Rock music, food, sports and YES we like to talk about YOU & GOD, too. Our Comprehensive Youth Ministry Program is geared to meeting four goals for our Youth, as set by Pope John Paul II.
Goal 1: To foster the spiritual growth of our Sr. High Youth to provide opportunities for them to develop intimate relationships with God.
Goal 2: To promote the Catholic Faith Formation of our Sr. High Youth by providing formal and informal educational opportunities and programs from a variety of sources.
Goal 3: To integrate the Sr. High Youth into the whole Parish Community by providing ways to connect our Youth to all Parish Ministries.
Goal 4: To focus all our programs and activities to help our Youth recognize, understand and demonstrate the unique and specific attributes of our Catholic faith identity in relationship to other faith traditions.
We try in a variety of ways to encourage growth in Faith, community, service and ministries through retreats, service projects ("Adopt A Road" - quarterly, N. Lakeshore Rd. is cleaned by our youth), National Catholic Youth Celebration trips, music and sports recreation. Our campus has a basketball court and fields for soceer and ultimate Frisbee. The outside sports activities are always fun ways to invite other youth in the area for friendly competition and fellowship.
The community of St. Timothy needs the youthful vitality of our Senior High in the Liturgical Ministries where they serve as Altar Servers, Ushers, Lectors, Music Cantors, and after Confirmation, as Eucharistic Ministers. This young energy and vitality is so essential to the faith development and continued growth of our community at large, NOT to mention that the teens look GOOD serving. When teens serve, it also encourages their younger siblings or other kids to watch, admire and pay attention to the liturgy as they watch the older youth. (If only to see if their brother or sister make a mistake. Yes, this can be a positive and we love them all!)

Tuesday/Thursday - 8 AM - 3 PM
Monday & Friday - off
